I’d like to our managers how much absence costs their department, is that possible?

Reports can be run at any level of the organisation, either comparing absence between departments and or providing up to the minute costs of absence by category. Another way of counting the cost is to implement a points based scheme such as the Bradford Factor where shorts spells of absence qualify for more points because they are more disruptive to the business

We are considering paying an attendance bonus at the end of the year. Is this something that can be managed by the system and do you have any experiences to share about attendance bonuses?

Attendance bonuses are used by many organisations yet are incredibly time consuming to monitor without an automated timekeeping system. Organisations need to decide what the rules are for awarding attendance bonuses ( 100% attendance only? ) and how frequently they plan to award them. The rest is fairly simple, with the system providing the names of eligible employees within a matter of minutes. Take a look at the Tryton Foods case study for a great example of how Kronos is helping one customer to manage quarterly and annual attendance bonuses. In my experience rewarding good behaviour is far more effective than penalising poor behaviour

We are trying to reduce the amount of paper we use so we don’t just want to run reports for the sake of it. Can we review stats online and then just print what we absolutely must?
Yes, absolutely. Reports can also be emailed to colleagues and charts and graphs can be cut and pasted into other reports you may need to provide. There is even no need to have a printer connected to the system.
